Henry King was a popular piano-playing band-leader in the 1930's and 1940's. In the early 1930's he lead a popular hotel orchestra, known as Henry King and The Hotel Pierre Orchestra. He is best known as the leader the orchestra on the popular Burns and Allen radio show in 1936 and 1937. When King got married in January 1937, the ceremony was incorporated into the radio program. A couple months after leaving the Burns and Allen show, Henry King and His Orchestra were featured in the Max Fleischer Screen Songs short film Please Keep Me In Your Dreams. The film's title comes from a Vee Lawnhurst and Tot Seymour song that King and His Orchestra perform with Barbara Blake, featuring the Bouncing Ball to lead the theatre in a sing-a-long.
