You're In My Power is a song written in 1933 by Al Hoffman, James Cavenaugh and Nat Simon. Hoffman wrote number one hits throughout the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's - many of which are still played today. He has co-written over 15,000 songs, and was posthumously inducted into the Songwriter's Hall Of Fame in 1984. In the 1934 short Betty Boop's Prize Show, Hoffman's You're In My Power is sung by Mae Questel as Betty Boop, along with Phillip The Fiend.
